About the Course
This workshop starts with introduction to Internet of Things and further dives deep into how the Internet on the whole works. After establishing the basic concepts of Internet of Things, students are introduced to Arduino programming and Analog Electronics basics. They learn to use Arduino variants to capture data from the physical environment and process it for storage and further analysis.
Once the students are able to understand the basic layered framework used in Internet of Things and are able to build an application using Arduino to connect to an online Interface, they are then introduced to Raspberry Pi and Python programming language, and are taught how to use both Arduino and Raspberry Pi together to capture data from an Arduino and send it to an online server for storage for further output formatting on an Interface.
Eligibility
This workshop is open to anyone and everyone, having a prior exposure to any sort of programming language. The workshop is intended for Engg. Grads, School Students, Designers and Hobbyists interested in creating interactive connected systems using and Arduino and Raspberry Pi over the internet.
